Shari Heimberger: Accounting Manager

Shari joined TAMS Group in May, 2017. She manages all accounting functions including billing, payroll, general accounting, financial statements, and project assignments. Shari began her career as an internal auditor with a local bank and then transitioned to a public accounting firm. Over the next 17 years she worked at several firms running accounting and tax engagements for a variety of privately held businesses in many industries, including manufacturing, health care, and non-profit organizations. In addition to client responsibilities Shari also took on the task of several administrative functions: staff/engagement scheduling and establishment of the firm peer review process. Shari also served as part of the management team for a children’s mental health agency. In addition to providing accounting services, she owns and manages a Curves gym.

Shari earned her B.A. in Accounting from Bowling Green State University and was certified as a CPA in 1989. Shari enjoys gardening, traveling and spends many summer weekends attending Jazz and Blues music festivals.
